Ok im going to start this post by saying DONT BUY ALIENWARE! i freeking swere that iv had the worst experiance with dell sence day one. It just gose to show you that buying somthing expensive dosent mean its quality these days. hell i could have bought an apple at this rate and i would have had better customer suport.

To start i bought my first alineware m17x and out of box it had problems. the FX lighting system wasent working, alot of the hot keys were not working, and it was crashing every 10 minuts. So i went back to the store location i bought it from and returned it right away.

Next i figured ok well if im going to spend money on this laptop i might as well go all the way. i bought my second alineware it had problems with the raid controller and harddrives. both harddrives were DOA and the mobo was DOA. so that computer was utterly useless. it couldent even boot into dell utilitys to figure out what was broken.

So they rush order me a new one with dual SSD drives at there expense. on arivle it was DOA.....at this point iv almost had it. The raid controler was dead and the lighting system was fail again. the dell tech guy came out next day to replace a mobo because they figured that was the cause of the problem. they also left a nice little chip on the screen were it looks like a screw driver had hit it. he also dident properly put the top control panel back in so its poped out.

WAY TO GO DELL. i really hope everyone that googles m17x gets this review because i posted it on alienwares webpage and they took it down.

In short. just go buy a sager or boxx if your looking for somthing powerfull. iv learnd my lesson to never buy from dell again.

PS my machine cost 5,400$
